When you register a .uk domain name you are also entering into a contract
with Nominet and you agree to their terms and conditions (http://www.nominet.org.uk/nominet-terms). This is a separate contract to any you may have with a third party for the provision of Internet services. Please read before you register your domain name.

Domain Lapses cover any domain name that falls past our final 10 day invoice for renewal. On .uk and TLD domains, we will send a renewal invoice 14 days before the domain expires. This invoice will be valid for 7 days. Should payment not be received after 10 days, the domain will automatically be dropped from our system. The domain can still be recovered for a further 7 days however this is subject to a 60GBP (or 120USD) setup charge as the domain is required to be recreated on our systems from scratch. After this period, the domain is returned to the registry and may be purchased by the general public.
Domain Registrations also fall under our own standard terms of business.
